NEW POLICIES FOR REOPENING

IN AN EFFORT TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR TEAM AND CLIENTS, AND TO ALLOW FOR THE MOST EFFICIENT DELIVERY OF SERVICES WHILE OUR OPERATING CAPACITY IS DRASTICALLY REDUCED WE WILL BE REQUIRING
CLIENTS TO ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOLS IN ORDER TO BOOK AND RECEIVE SERVICES.

THESE PROTOCOLS WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL WE FEEL THEY ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY. WE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MAY NOT AGREE WITH THESE PROTOCOLS, BUT IN ORDER TO MAKE OUR BEST EFFORT AT STAFF AND CLIENT SAFETY WILL INSIST THAT THEY BE FOLLOWED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SERVICES AT TRESSES.

APPOINTMENT BOOKING

  1. Clients will be required to fill out a waiver prior to arrival for an appointment. This can be done by clicking the link here and must be received 24 hours prior to the appointment or the appointment will be canceled and rescheduled when we are able.

  2. Currently, Tresses will focus our efforts on booking clients who had appointments missed during the stay home order. We will not be taking on new clients or new bookings until we have placed every past appointment that was canceled during our stay home as well as between now and June. Currently, our stylists are only able to work limited shifts due to new spacing requirements, and capacity guidelines. This is why it will take some time to reschedule these appointments. Please be patient as we will not be able to squeeze anyone in.

  3. We will contact you to rebook your missed appointments. While our phones will be open, we will not be fielding appointment booking calls on an inbound basis, as we are not currently taking new bookings. We will be available to answer questions/concerns via email while we work through getting everyone rebooked.

  4. Some clients may be asked to see a different stylist to address your hair needs in a more timely manner. This will be done at the recommendation of your current stylist.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  1. A waiver must be signed, completed, and submitted to the salon 24 hours prior to your appointment. If we have not your waiver prior to your appointment, your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled when we are able.

  2. Please arrive with clean (washed the night before or morning of), detangled hair. Please do not arrive with hair that has been in a ponytail or bun. All haircuts will be done dry, or if after a color service will be done wet. We will not be doing washes with haircuts at this time, or blow-drys or styling of any kind.

  3. Clients will no longer be allowed to wait in the salon for their appointment. Upon arrival please wait in your car, and call the salon when you have arrived at check-in. Once you are checked in the front desk will call when you can enter the building. The front door will remain locked and no one will be allowed entry unless approved. If a client needs assistance please let us know ahead of time, and we are happy to accommodate you.

  4. Clients will be encouraged to wear a mask the entire time they are in the salon. If the client does not arrive with a mask (must be a mask with loops around the ears), Tresses will provide one to use during your visit if we have them in stock. Clients will also be provided a clean and sanitized cape/smock for their appointment.

  5. Upon arriving into the salon we will require you to wash/sanitize hands immediately upon entry.

  6. Personal items will be limited to a cellphone and a form of payment.

  7. Clients will not be allowed to bring outside food and beverages into the salon.

  8. Clients will remain in the styling chair except as directed by the stylist or to use the restroom. Restroom use will be closely monitored so they can be properly disinfected between each use.

  9. At this time Tresses will be offering no blow-dry/styling services, finishes, or shampoos with haircuts. Clients receiving color services will leave wet after their appointment. Please plan accordingly

  10. Clients will be asked to arrive to their appointment alone. If assistance is required to get to and from the appointment we understand, your helper will be asked to wait outside of the salon during your appointment and your stylist will assist you while you are in the salon.
